|
|
So I actually live in Gonjiam-ri, just south of the smaller gwangju. My trash is piling up and I need to get rid of it.
They use trashbags here that you purchase at the local grocery store. There is a blue bag, a white bag and I think a yellow. Unfortunately its all in Korean so I don't know which bag is for what. I took a look at the trash pile and I think blue is recyclables. Anyone have experience with this and care to explain the bags?
Thanks. My co-teacher lives in Seoul, as does most of the others who speak english that I know. I am headed to the pharmacy to ask a local who speaks excellent english, but would rather read about it here (not sure anyone likes talking about trash). |

The white bag is for regular trash, the yellow is for food leftovers and we don't use blue ones in Seoul, at least not that I know of. |

Artris - Ahhh, getting rid of the trash. Good question. I think you should go to the pharmacy and talk to Sun. She will know! Yep, that is absolutely the answer! Matchmaker |

Look at the bags and see if you can identify these words:
일반용 = normal usage
재활용 = recycleable usage
음식물 = food usage
Then you'll know which bag is for what. |
