I am returning to Maryland in US and I am wondering about health insurance. Can anyone recommend some good short term coverage for me.

E health insurance offers short term stuff. Never used them myself, but have seen them recommended.

I've used Assurant Health/Fortis (I think they merged) for temporary coverage. It only covers major medical but it gave me peace of mind that I wouldn't go bankrupt in case of something serious.

Never needed to actually use it so can't necessarily recommend them, I think I chose them because of the low cost.

Ya.

I used e health insurance to find a plan in my own state. It's not like shopping on Amazon for a dvd. Finding a decent policy requires a couple hours at least.

It's possible that all Americans will have to buy health insurance. I was wondering how those laws my affect ex-pats and people working over seas for more than a month at a time like us.
