Where in Seoul can I find a brick of real cheese? Like cheddar and such? Everything else just seems to carry the plastic stuff. |

You can get a 2 pound block of cheddar, mild, medium or sharp, for like 12,000 Won at Costco. They also have Colby, Pepper Jack, Montery Jack, Parmegean and a bunch of others. I've seen smaller blocks of cheese at Lotte Mart, Emart and Homeplus, but they were almost the same price as the 2 pound blocks at Costco. |

Costco has several locations, they sell rather large bricks of a limited variety. Hannam mart near Itaewon. The Hyatt Hotel on the hill above Itae sells cheese and good bread too by the way. The bread sells at a discount after 7:00 PM. Be prepared to lose your appetite over the price. At least some Shinsegae stores sell cheese in the basement shops. |

If you don't have or don't want a Costco membership, Emart just started selling a 98 gram block of a pretty good pepperjack style under the Cletvelle brand for around 3800 won. I admit that is a little expensive, but not a huge outlay for an occasional splurge. |

Costco sells Tillamook cheese right?
That's where I'm from, Oregon. So you know it's real good!
Well, almost as good as Wisconsin cheese. That's where I am originally from.
