|
|
I'm on vacation and would like to check out a casino. I am a big slot player, but tap roulette once in a while too. What's the best place for me? I would also like a decent buffett or restaurant and easy comps, if they do that in Korea. Any opinions, please? |

In Seoul:
7 Luck COEX (Samseong station)
and
Walker Hill (short taxi ride from Gangbyeon station. Save receipt and they will pay for it.)
Close enough to try both in a single night. Free food and drinks at both places. Slots aren't popular but 7 Luck probably has more than Walker Hill. |

There's also a casino at the Millennium Seoul Hilton. It's about a 5 minute taxi ride from Itaewon. However, if you're a slots player, the Walker Hill location is probably your best bet (pun intended). |

The 7 Luck Millenium Hilton just doesn't measure up in terms of aesthetics/service. Have had much better experiences at the COEX location.
For the best looking, swankiest place Walker Hill is definitely number one. |

I can tell you which one it's not: that would be the one in Gangwondo that the Koreans can go to. No empty tables, no empty machines, no booze. When people go to the bathroom they fold up dollar bill and leave it tucked into the machine as if that holds their machine for them. |

Yes that was my experience as well. When I asked an employee when he thought a seat at a blackjack table would come open, he just laughed and suggested I put my name on tomorrow's waiting list. Avoid that joint completely. |

I'm not sure but I think most of the 7 Luck tourneys take place at the Hilton location.

Tourneys at both Walker Hill and Hilton
Walker has the best atmosphere and freebies
Hilton is best for slots.
Not a fan of Coex location |
