| I know my future. I'm a lifer. They will be burying me on the family hill along with the other dead Koreans. But what's your future? Is it bright? Is it grim? Is it the same as mine? Where do you see yourself down the road? |

| I'll leave Korea in 9 weeks, take a vacation for a bit and then apply for jobs in the Middle East - Saudi Arabia, hopefully. |

Hmmm, I lived in Oman when I was in high school and my mom was an English lecturer at the university there.... nothing beats good old Muscat! 3 or so hours' drive from Dubai... nice friendly people who pinch your bum and stare at you on the beach... shops that close in the middle of the day but stay open way past midnight... gas station attendants who can only fill your tank, not help a mom and her daughter put in coolant when the car over heats... what more can you wish for!? I loved it! |

Currently in Uni still, studying film and animation. I originally wanted to work for children's television shows, but I've also been thinking I'd like to be an early elementary teacher, since apparently my skills with children are better than that of my drawing skills. I'll be applying for a double Bachelor's in Fine Arts/Education next year I've decided.
So... my future will hopefully be either me working on the next big Children's show or working in an Elementary school probably somewhere in Canada, but anywhere else wouldn't surprise me either.
So, I'd like to see my future as pretty bright. So far things have been pretty good.  |

God, you're like the fifth or sixth person who called me otis or kyle or blake. It's eerie. But what's it to you. You got an axe to grind with someone?

| Start in Korea as a first timer on September 1st. If I like my first year, maybe I'll keep going. Tentatively planning on Peace Corps and a Masters after Korea. |

I dunno, I think the Peace Corps would be a good fit for me. I'm into humanitarianism, and I want to apply and become fluent in the French I studied in college. Spending some time in a Francophone country and becoming bilingual would really open up some opportunities in the future. Downsides would be the 27 month commitment and hardly any monetary compensation of course.
Some Master's programs incorporate the Peace Corps service into the degree. Less class time and more "in the field" work and getting exposed to more culture? Sign me up. |

Peace Corp pays nothing. But you might make some connections. Life is all about the connections. |

If I like it well enough, I might try to go for a MEd or something and become a lifer. I'll have to see how it goes. I can't say for sure where life will take me. |

Well I can't know that until I go there and try it out for myself. No offence, but I can't just take other people's word for it, I have to see for myself.
I'm Canadian btw, as you can see by my location. |
