I just bought an Ice Cream phone with my girlfriend. It's pretty cool. You can do video chat because there is a second camera on the inside of the phone. Anyone else get this phone?
I didn't have to pay LG a deposit for a 2 year contract either. |

i just got a phone from LG with the same feature - model LH2300w. i don't know if that's the same phone but anyway i'm looking for extra useful app.s, or even a different UI to install. if anyone can post links or point me in the right direction i'd appreciate it.
happy video calling! |

What do they charge you to use video chat?
I had to laugh, because it never really took off in this country, despite SHOW having such high hopes and spending billions of won. The problems were as follows:
1. Cost
2. Public nuisance -- people have to extend their arms and shout noisily (or wear a pesky earphone). Everyone hears the phone squak.
3. Can you imagine Ajoshi actually having to "show" their wives where they are while working late, or at a "meeting"? Company boardroom walls don't exactly resemble a room salon with hookers. I have students with those phones, and believe me, the other person wants to see where his/her lover is at all times.
What does it cost you to use it, btw? |

| I don't use it much. It's 180 won per minute plus the cost of a regular phone call. |

It was basically free for me too. Only cost 50,000. It's the Ice Cream 2 model. |

| I paid about the same (40)...and yeah...it's the same as my girlfriend's phone. I said no to couple panties and couple shirts...but I relented on the phone...my old phone was a piece of crap. I just hope that it's not a downward spiral..you start with the phone...and before you know it...t-shirt, shorts, panties...matchy matchy. |

Ummm...we did Mine broke the first day...and there was a mild amount of complaining (she suspected (quite rightly) sabotage)...but we were better for the experience. |
