Hey everyone, is the typhoid immunization a must when going to Korea to teach for a year? I just got back from my doctor and he told me I don't need it because Korea is not a developing country anymore. From what other people are saying here though, it seems like I do need to get one. |

It is NOT necessary unless you plan to take some vacations in South East Asia during your breaks.
Hep A and B are necessary (both are endemic here). |

Oh okay, thanks for the info. I just received my Hep A and some updates on my basic vaccines. Also got screened for Hep B to see if my antibodies are good. If not, I'll be going back to the doctors |
