I'm doing a search right now but nothing is turning up.

Pop-up frequency is generally unrelated to cookies. Either you've installed a program that serves up advertisements or you've visited a site which has opened an IE window which only serves as a timer to open up other advertisements. (most likely the former instead of the latter). |

If you have an "Internet Explorer" window open, go to "Tools" (5th from the left), and drag down to the last choice (Internet Options). In the middle are some choices for "Temporary Internet Files". Click the button on the far right (Settings), and then a new window comes up, where you should click the button on the far right in a row a three buttons (View Objects). That will give you a list of all your cookies. |

Ad-aware-6.0
It will find and delete all your spyware. No more pop-ups.
I downloaded the free (but ad-supported) version of DivX, then did an Ad-aware scan. Now I have the benefit of free software, but don't have to put up with the pop-ups generated by the included software. |
