I have a small hard drive and I wanted to make room for a movie. So I uninstalled some stuff. Apparently I removed something related to the sound/speakers. I can't remember what it was... real tec... maybe? I removed a few things my computer said I only used rarely.
Better yet, how can I just undo or reverse everything I just uninstalled?? Now when I go to one of my favorite websites, firefox freezes.
Ugh. Idiot.
Anyway, how do I get this back?? |

Do you have vista or xp
with xp go to help and support from the start menu
with vista type system restore in the search box from the start menu |

system restore only saves settings and does nothing for programs removed by the user. You'll have to reinstall. My guess is you erased some drivers for your
sound card (and maybe others) Go to "My Computer" left click and them "properties" and see if any yellow "?" show up in the device lists. |

Well give the system restore ago, it's normally only used for when you install something that stuffs it up.
Rereading your post have you tried reinstalling firefox? |
