So I'll be hopefully moving to South Korea in less than a month and I was planning on shipping my computer. It's Mac desktop and I was wondering if I need to get both and adapter and converter, or just one. Does anyone have any advice on this????

thanks!

If it is an iMac, all you will need is a plug adapter or a Korean power cord. I'm not sure if it's a Mac Pro. Almost all computers have dual voltage power supplies, though. Some computer power supplies require you to flip a switch to choose between 110-120VAC and 220-240VAC. What you need to do is find the spot where you plug the power cord in and look for the acceptable input voltages. If it says 100-240V, 50-60Hz, then it will work. Make sure that you set the switch to the correct input voltage if there is a switch present.
