|
|
Hey I called ETS. And they told me there was a testing center available in Seoul. But, they only told me that the Korean GRE is different from the American GRE. Though they wouldn't say by how much.
Has anyone taken it in Korea and could just highlight the major differences? As long as its done through ETS, I don't see why grad schools in the States wouldn't accept the scores.
In the worst case scenario. I'll have to time my vacation with my testing dates.
Thanks. |

I have taken the GRE in SK and there is no difference between that and the GRE given anywhere else in the world... it is the same exam and it where it is taken is not important...
I think it is run twice a year (I did mine in October) and you will want to register a few months before hand. They have testing centres in Seoul, Busan and Gwangju (at least). I think the one in Seoul is at Yonsei University...
I did all the registration on the ETS website and then got confirmation in a letter from them with a few days later...
Hope this helps... |

There is one major difference. The writing portion is computer based, but the verbal and math multiple choice portion is paper based. Also, the two different portions are taken at two different sites. |
