Hi, Just my 2 cents worth....
I lived and worked in Vegas, covering "gaming," for a newspaper.
My roommate was a craps dealer at the MGM.
The casinos count on human greed, our nature, to grind u to dust.
It takes true professional discipline to "hit-and-run," to be content with a small win and then invest it in a blue chip stock like Exxon Mobil. Do that and u feel OK.
We are greedy. We think luck will change. We get desperate. We start to hate ourselves for throwing hard earned money away and after awhile just say F it and lose it all. "The lure of easy money has a very strong appeal." Remember that line from Smugglers Blues?
Here's the deal. To win, I have been told, u must work at it at least as hard as a masters degree. The game to learn is craps, which is not in Korea. Learn it. Learn to make lay bets and be smart and alert at all times. Make sure you are paid correctly and that your bets are in place. There is 1 "system" where u win $ on every role of the dice but the 5, but it's still gambling since a few 5s can kick your ass.
Or, Learn to count cards and find a single deck 21 game, which of course is not available in Korea. With basic 21 strategy u might get lucky for awhile, but the more u play, the more u lose....usually...
You must be able to be happy with small profit, a free meal and drinks and GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE.
Sorry folks, roulette, slots are house games. I think pros call them sucker games.
People do make a living at poker but it's a tough grind lifestyle w/cig. smoke, no natural light, etc.
Gambling is addictive on many levels, and casinos are in the very serious business of separating u from your money in a controlled and toxic atmosphere.
I'm no expert on all this.
But if u want to talk sports betting, there's a subject I do know a little about... |

Sports betting is only second to keno in worst odds, mostly because of the juice |
