What a fruit cake, religion and retards really do fit together so well.

A US jury has found a man guilty of killing his sick 11-year-old daughter by praying for her recovery rather than seeking medical care.

The man, Dale Neumann, told a court in the state of Wisconsin he believed God could heal his daughter.

She died of a treatable disease - undiagnosed diabetes - at home in rural Wisconsin in March last year, as people surrounded her and prayed.

He just wasn't faithful enough. God saw through it and had to let her go.

If praying saved the girl, obviously that would have been cited as evidence of the existence of God. But I'll bet you any money the dad believes the death is also the Divine Will.

If it was undiagnosed, how do they know it was diabetes?

Idea Anyway, maybe she would have died sooner if they hadn't prayed.

I'm just sayin'.

I mean, you never know.

Oh, never mind. Give the girl some damn insulin already!

I don't know why people are upset. Look at all the discusions on this board about insurance in the US. If you lived in the US, didn't have insurance, and then found out your daughter has diabetes..well...the last resort would have to be either folk remedies or praying!

They[the prosecution] said the girl should have been taken to hospital because she was unable to walk, talk, eat or drink.

Instead, an ambulance was only called once the girl had stopped breathing.

It went undiagnosed until after medical assistance was finally called. She was unable to walk, talk, eat or drink. Yet her family didn't call a doctor, the father did not want to put a doctor before God. Which surprises me since many people thank God when doctors save their lives and see them as doing God's work.
