Is NESPOT the main WiFi around Seoul? Does any here use NESPOT for their iPod Touch? Does it work ok? How prolific are open WiFi networks? Does anyone understand the NESPOT subscription process .. do they have an unlimited plan or are they still on the dark ages per kb plans? What the approximate cost? Can I bundle it to my KT internet and get a discount?

Can the iPod touch work with WiBro? If so, how? How is that priced?

Last question.. if they don't have unlimited plans, is there a way to put a cap on your account in order to prevent an accidental $1000 bill?

Thanks! I'm about to get a Touch and want to be able to use the connectivity in as many places as possible.

I don't expect anyone to answer all of the questions.. but any help is appreciated.. thanks!

The ipod touch works great with wifi. Depending on where you live in Seoul you might be surprised how much free wifi is lying around. But in places like Gangnam, or other highly posh areas, it's harder to find free wifi and Nespot is everywhere.

But it's great for surfing the web, wikipedia, and e-mail on the go.

I find that where I live in Seoul, the northern part, that there is so much free wifi that there is no need to purchase Nespot.

That thread isn't the greatest, or I am missing something...

W12,000 per day the English site says...
http://www.nespot.com/web/eng/pricing/pri.html

I want wifi everywhere......

I guess that find wifi app sucks?

I highly doubt it will work with WiBro, because they only allow it to work on PC's with a USB dongle.

Not sure about Nespot.

I'm pissed because my university's new system requires you to download a very obtrusive/controlling new program that invades your privacy and gives them total control to download new software to your machine before you can use free wifi there.

Not Ipod-touch compatible.
