I hear that samseung is undervalued and on it's way up. Is it a bubble?

Please post up your k-stock picks and how much you are investing.

Wife and I put about 80,000 usd in funds when we came back to Korea three years ago. We're still catching up from what we lost in the past year.

No stock picks yet but I just went to the Isu branch of SamsungFN and signed up. Don't get there to sign up, people can't speak English there. But the dudes on the phone, the website, and the trade program are all in English now. I should have taken that guy's advice from another thread and gone to Apkujeong or Gangnam.

I would recommend signing up with samsungfn cuz of their English service. I can trade online in English, Korean stocks.

no stock picks yet.

there are tons of different samsung stocks.

how much we are investing doesn't matter imo. maybe what percent of your overall wealth? even then people won't really want to talk about that too much...

anyways bump.

it's an internet forum, you'd think that people wouldnt care to divulge how much they are winning or losing on stocks.

don't buy anything based on hearsay! and as the previous guy said, which samsung? there are many..
if you mean samsung electronics, well, it has been going up.. its not a bubble stock at all, but i do think it is slightly too expensive. for now, they'll benefit from the weak won but in the long run the recession will make people defer purchases of fancy big screen tvs, computers, and so on.
anyway thats just my opinion. before you invest, teach yourself as much as possible, and research the company. don't trust hearsay and rumours, and don't trust brokerage reports, newspaper recommendations, etc, either.
