Does anyone know if any of the Irish bars around Seoul will be showing the hurling semi finals this sunday?
Or even any link to a site that streams the match live?
Id prefer to watch it in a pub with a few pints in me to be honest! |

Hurling?? Like a bunch of Irish guys getting loaded and throwing up? Do they break them into catagories? Distance, accuracy and texture?
Seriously, never heard of Hurling. What is it? |

Can't help you with watching it in KOrea, but there is the off chance that this link might work
rtsp://89.207.56.18:554/broadcast/rte2-450.rm
Just open it in real player and cross your fingers. It's a direct feed from the rte site. I was able to watch most of the matches over the last two summers in korea but it does sometimes prevent you from watching it.
If anyone knows how I can stream it from my laptop to any site, like justintv, I would be willing to give it a shot for you! |

Wolfhound in Itaewon will almost certainly be showing it. Call them on 027497971 to make sure.
If you know Itaewon, go down the street across from the Hamilton Hotel past Geckos. Take the first right down another hill and you'll see the sign on your right about 50 meters down. There should be a good crowd watching it there. |

I'd say the wolfhound will show it. If not justintv usually streams the rte coverage (i always google the two teams + live stream as the search function on justintv isn't great). Saw the tyrone game last week, good coverage but the commentary was a little ahead of the action. |

I watched the finals a couple years back with a good Irish friend of mine. It was Limerick vs Kilkenny I think? Anyways, I really enjoyed it, its not over complicated, violent and fast. I kind of wish it was more popular. |

It's a great sport to watch at the high level.........there's nothing like an All Ireland Final for atmosphere....
But, it's not such a fun time when you're 16 years old on a cold wet day in January and you're being forced to play hurling by demented Christian Brothers yelling how they'll 'tump you with a stick' if you don't try harder.......ever get hit in the ear with a plastic hurl on a freezing cold day?
I preferred the Gaelic Football. |

I had my half my ear split open with a solid ash hurley on a cold January day but id take that instead of going to the Christian Brothers anyday! im gonna chance the wolfhound, ill be in the area anyway, im going introducing the sport to my american co-teachers. |
