Hi,
I'm going to be moving to Daegu in two weeks so I'm looking for any information on the area i'm going to be living/working in. The address the school gave me is in Dalseo-gu, Paho-dong. Obviously, I was able to find Dalseo-gu but Paho-Dong doesn't seem to show up anywhere on searches.
Any help anyone could give me would be much appreciated.
Cheers |

murph14, paho-dong is on the west side. Assume you will be working at either the GnB or E-Boyoung Talking Club (Only 2 English hagwons in that dong, unless something else opened up lately.). Those schools and the local commercial district are located just outside of Exit 2 of Gangchang Station on Daegu's Subway Line 2.
You are within view of Keimyung University, one of Daegu's biggest unis. There are a lot of foreign teachers and international students there, plus there are some big hagwon chains a few stations down from you at Seongseo Industrial Complex Stn and Igok Station. As a result, many foreigners can be seen hanging out at the east gate nightlife district outside of Keimyung, which will be within 10-15 minutes walk from your school.

You will also be 12 subway stops from Banwoldang Station, which puts you in downtown. Figure 20 minutes travel time.
