I'm getting old. I admit it. But let me tell you, I'm so, so sick of former/current stars who are older and older and older posing naked. It's like Hollywood has an obsession with menopausal women being sexy.
STOP ALREADY!!!!
We aren't attracted to fake old goats like Sharon Stone. Heck, didn't they put this cow out to pasture after the dismal failure of her sequel to Basic Instinct? Yeah, we all want to see some grandmother's stuff.
We don't need to see Jennifer Aniston naked to understand that she has recovered from Brad Pitt! Cripes, it's like so many magazines are obsessed with showing us a woman can still be desirable after being kicked to the curb by the most attractive man in the world for a younger, better looking woman. There is no more need to calm the reality of every older woman's worst nightmare.
We're sick of seeing Madonna's arms -- be they flabby and hanging on the floor one month, or overly-muscular the next.
We're tired of Julia Roberts and the wrinkles they airbrush out of her head. Jeeze, have you seen her on video lately? She comes across like that sweet grandmother you had when you were 8.
Demi Moore? Sure, we're thrilled for that punk'd dude who can't overcome childhood pranks and desires for older women, but please.... let him have her and let's move on.
The same can be said for pregnancy photos of the stars. A man doesn't look at a retouched photo of a balloon and think, "Wow, I want to sleep with that!"
PLEASE STOP and move on to someone in their 20's, or at least no later than early 30's! Let's get over the 80's and find some new starlets! Surely there is somebody without three tummy-tucks, two double-chin surgeries, and liposuction on the thighs worthy of a magazine cover? |

I agree. I even remember many years back when Ocean's 11 came out.
"Julia Roberts is supposed to be the object of desire for both Pitt and Clooney? Seriously?" |

Speaking of overexposed stars that aren't aging that well, I'd put Brad Pitt firmly on that list. He was lovely in Thelma and Louise, but lets face it- that was 18 years ago. |

This is a direct result of the MILF/Cougar hype. |

.... I'm doubting the article is directed at men. Probably aimed towards women so they don't give up starving themselves and purchasing loads of product to look their 'best'. Besides, there are still people alive today who don't think it's ok to have sex with someone young enough to be their daughter. White, upper-middle class male people. They deserve someone to objectify too, don't they? It's the American way, after all! The magazine is French and I'm Canadian, but the point stands. |
