My family runs a cellphone store near Seoul. Recently KT changed the rules for E2 visa people so don't need a deposit or credit card now, same as LG is, so can just receive bill monthly not have to pre-load call money. Just need to show you have three months left on your job contract - usually showing on the back of the ARC card.
KT phones cheaper at present, new from 100,000 won. LG ones more expensive at moment.
SK still holds a 200,000 won deposit system. |

Great news!
Now it will just take 3 years for the cellphone stores to figure this is true once we start telling them about it.  |

| Yep, but straight up at our store. Been quietly around last few years doing/dealing with this stuff. |
