|
|
Hey all. Can someone with experience answer these Taekwon-Do related questions (and I realize the answers depend on the area one lives in):
1. How much does is cost? Is it a monthly fee? Any huge set up costs?
2. How often is class? Is it a sin to miss a class or two?
3. Are uniforms available in Westerner size? (my boyfriend is 6'2")
Thanks for any help! |

Cost - The average cost is between 60,000 - 80,000 won a month. Some schools may have an evening adult class that may be cheaper..shop around. Others may be able to set up a special kind of rate...for example...if you could only attend 2-3 days a week, the tuition may be lower. Usually a monthly fee and usually without contract. No set up costs other than perhaps a uniform.
Class - Classes are usually held everyday..often times Saturdays and Sundays as well..though on the weekends the classes may be geared more toward students who are part of demonstration or competitions teams. Depends on each school but typically you can expect 5-6 days included with your tuition. Missing classes is not really an issue.
Uniforms - They may not have the size you or your boyfriend need on the day you walk in there, but they can order any size needed. Some places may give you a uniform free, while others may charge 25,000 - 30,000 won for it.
Enjoy~~ |
