| I know this is like asking for the moon, but I may have to take my cat up to the NVRQC in Seoul and need to stay a night or 2 in order to obtain a Taiwan visa as well. Has anyone stayed in a love motel with their pet before (wow, that really doesn't sound right)? |

now that's just sick. you should be ashamed of yourself.
Put the pets in a pet hotel and yourself in a love motel. |

HaHa. Seriously though, my cat needs a rabies test, and I haven't been able to work it out with my local vet where he takes her blood samples and sends them to the lab in Seoul, so I have to physically bring her there to get the test (I'm gonna go back and hound the vet again in a last ditch effort, but...)
This is gonna be funny. My cat is a really prissy looking long hair with a giant ridiculous heart collar, and I had to buy her a pink carry case that says "Queen" in really big letters all over it (go Korea). So, now I will have to show up at random love motels (I don't want to pay hundreds a night for pet motels) with the "Queen" begging "koyangee okay?" at the counter. I imagine my pleas will be met with constipated looks and wild laughter followed by rejection. Okay, gonna walk over to the vet again and try to avoid the trip altogether, but I'm on a time crunch and if I can't work it out with him today, well... |

Why not just find a local vet and keep the cat there. I know I know it is cruel to put your cat into such a small cage but it is cheap I here. They charge only about 10,000 a day or so.
Maybe you go early find a vet in Seoul put the cat up for the night and go to your own hotel.
Good Luck |

Yes... Hotel Good Time.
Bad name, I know. And I don't even remember what part of the city (vaguely near Ewha, I think). Google it. |

Asking for permission is the best way to ensure you have a crappy time in South Korea.
Put the cat and its cat gear into a big soft-shelled bag, check in to any yogwan near the lab, and hope the cat doesn't meow or jump around while you're signing the register. If it does, head for the next yogwan. Repeat until success.
Are you asking about "love motels" because you're not familiar with the word "yogwan", or are you specifically wanting to stay at a love motel? |

| Well, guess I'll be on the hunt for Hotel Good Time then. With a name like that how can you go wrong? Or, I'll just follow JongnoGuru's advice. The kitty's not much of a meow-er, so we should be able to keep it on the DL (again, that just sounds so wrong). |

keep it at the same place you're getting the rabies shot...10-15k a night to stay at the animal hospital (for dogs at least). it's a little cramped but it'll be fine |

Yeah, this is the best option.
