One of my adult students is moving to Pohang to study, and was wondering if there were any decent preschools in Pohang that he could send his kids to. Any information would be appreciated, name of school and location if possible.

I used to work part time at a Uchiwon (Pre School) in E Dong in Pohang. The staff were great and it was very professional. Every room had an electronic keyboard, and just about every educational aid possible.
The owner is a postgrad in early childhood education, and her husband is an oriental medical doctor. The fact that they were willing to take on a native speaker part time speaks loads for it. I think they also use a Korean English teacher on a part time basis as well.
Some of the students were already quite good at English, and had also never lived abroad. Had one young kid that soaked up everything I said, and on a first time meeting was able to repeat back stuff which I had written on the board and then erased. Floored the Korean teachers, but luckilly they were open to new ideas and didn't try and shut him up or put him down.
