Saw this on a friends Facebook and it made me laugh. Obviously a joke, but made me chuckle none the less.

Sorry to be pedantic but isnt it 'TEFL' if it's in a non-English speaking country. I have been lead to believe it is ESL if it's in an Englush speaking country. Can anyone clarify this?

Good picture though I like it. Seems we have a bit of a bad rep in the world of normal people.

I love this entry on uncyclopedia for TEFL, it's an anti-wikipedia

http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/TEFL

The leading quote is from Yoko Ono : What a marvellous idea...putting all of the world's paedophiles together in one industry

My boss said to me once, when I had a student on my lap (she is 6, and has a real focus problem)...

ssssssssssssppppppptttttt (air through teeth)... "Ahh... we... ahh... sssssssspppppppppppt..... have a problem with... ahh... Canadians.... ahh here... sssssppppppt..... they like to ahh... touch kids..."

I stopped him right there and told him that I completely understood what he was saying. I was too shocked and embarrassed about the situation to actually get angry until afterwards.

Yes, Korea has a problem with Canadians. Especially the English teaching ones. Jinx on any mention of Christopher Paul Neil.

Edit: Also, the poster is even more repulsive due to the use of Comic Sans.
