i'm really putting in a lot of time here trying to get over a friend who turned into a lover then just a friend again. 
she's a little younger than me and Korean making it all that more difficult. anyway, any advice, please, to ease my wonderment and sense of loss?  |

try perhaps backing off of the friendship for a while.
separation will do you good.
make sure that you kick nostalgia in the ass and don't let it be the other way around.
consider getting "this too shall pass" tattooed across your collar bones.
change your routines. get some new sneakers and join a rock climbing club or something. |

My advice is: If you cant get over her, then just stay with her, and the day you are fed up with each other, you will break up without any difficulty.
