... but I think my gf would dump me. (Hmm... I think I just formed an exit strategy. Wink

Those things look like a lot of fun to drive. Anyone have a Tico?

They are like mopeds...and you know what they say about mopeds.

My GF hated my '93 Pride. Children would run pointing "Dong-cha" (Shitcar) yet she loved going any where and every where I took her in it.

My all time fave little Kcar is the Damas, the mini mini van, So ugly it's cool.

I don't have a Tico but I would love to take a ride in one! They are so cute and sporty looking. I wish they would come out with new models. I might buy one...but all the ones you see on the road now are so old.
You can see so many Ticos in Jeju, it's strangely one of the (silliest) reasons I like that place so much...
Are you thinking about getting a Tico? I would seriously pay to take a spin in it. And if you're worried about your gf dumping you over it maybe you need to get a new gf who appreciates your fine choices -like me! haha
At least she won't have to walk...

My gf (now my wife) had a Tico her sister gave her. GREAT CAR! Damn thing would go anywhere. I'm 6'5" tall so it was abit of a pain for me to drive but I loved the fact that: 1. You could park it anywhere. 2. Very cheap to operate. 3. Literally, you could take it down the tinniest streets, lanes, alleys, footpaths. 4. For it's size it had good power (just stay off the main expressways). And, 5. Very rugged and durable.

New it only cost W3,000,000 we traded it after driving it 5 years and got W2,000,000. Would have kept it except the trave-in value was too good to pass up.

I miss the Tico.

Streets made of tin. Sounds like the K-version of another dream...

Tico...yes, my wife used to have one. Pretty peppy, but overall, a deathtrap. Not much better than a motorcycle.
