Ahhh... Lego. My first was a big, black castle that opened up complete with porticullis and drawbridge.

Lego is still cool, but there are too many big pieces nowadays. Obviously this saves money as they don't have to make as many pieces, one larger piece is cheaper (molding, etc). Plus, a little expensive and I am not a big fan of all the commercialism. I use to make Star Wars stuff, but I had to use my imagination. Now they have Harry Potter or Star Wars Lego, and I think it takes some imagination away. Actually, Lego isn't near as good as it used to be.

These ones ring a bell.

There's Slinky here in Korea, metal and plastic versions.

WHo could forget? I still remember the line up at the theatre for the first movie. I have never seen a line like that, outside of Star Wars and LOTR.
