I am quitting my current job (did it right, gave them the thirty days notice required by my contract), but I am wondering if I have a *legal* right to receive my last paycheck on my last day of work, or if I just have to wait until the eighth to get it like I normally do.
I checked the Labor Standards Act, but didn't really see anything about employees quitting their jobs, just rules about terminating an employee. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks. |

They can (legally) wait up to 14 days after your last day of work to pay you...but they must pay you. |
