I work for CDI, and the corporate offices in Seoul decided that I don't have enough enthusiasm to teach Rolling Eyes. ITs really annoying because my school wants to keep me but they have no choice or say in the matter. They have agreed to transfer the visa and such and give me a good recommendation.

I have a month to find a new job and I don't even know where to start, I emailed a few people, sure, but if anyone can give me a few proactive tips it would be great.

I don't want to go home, but if I don't do something soon, I will be forced
to. I live in Busan and its nice, but my school only gave me a week of vacation, which I haven't used.

I feel like I haven't even been to Asia because I have only went to Seoul twice and I went to the Mud festival. The rest of the time has been spent in Busan, teaching during the week, binge drinking on the weekends. I have saved some money, but it would go fast if I went back to the states.

I am pretty sure I have at least the advantage over other newbs that I am currently in Korea, but I wouldn't mind looking into other opportunities in other countries.

Ok, most important question. How long have you had this E-2 visa?

You have to work at least 9 months to be able to transfer your visa, even if you have a letter of release and your employer is ok with it.

You can cancel the visa and start all over, including resubmitting your transcripts and diploma and blah blah blah.
