				| I am quitting my current job (did it right, gave them the thirty days notice required by my contract), but I am wondering if I have a *legal* right to receive my last paycheck on my last day of work, or if I just have to wait until the eighth to get it like I normally do.
I checked the Labor Standards Act, but didn't really see anything about employees quitting their jobs, just rules about terminating an employee. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks.

They can (legally) wait up to 14 days after your last day of work to pay you...but they must pay you.
