I had an account with KB while I was in Korea. In February my brother died and I had to leave the country on short notice. I arranged with my boss to deposit my last paycheck and other money that was owed to me into my account in the U.S but she accidently deposited it into my KB account. I went to my bank here and they told me they couldnt transfer the money. My boss told me to mail her my bank book and PIN number and she would take care of it. I trust my old boss but Im also scared of my bankbook getting lost or stolen in the mail. Has anyone had any luck transferring money from a Korean bank while outside Korea? |

Let your boss deal with it.
Send your passbook and pin through express mail which is basically registered mail but fast. |
