My NOA is still on its way but I've been told that school starts Sept. 1st. (which is odd to me because that's a Tuesday).
When are GEPIK people supposed to arrive?
I have been told very little.
Does anyone know if we are quarantined as well? |

Don't worry about it too much - you'll be there soon enough. Whereabouts are you off to? If it was my old school - best of luck! |

Some schools know what they are doing and can easily handle the Immigration paperwork while other schools pass it off to inexperienced staff or a co-teacher. That may explain the delay. |

Don't Panic
No, you are getting a NOA, right? No interview required.
If you get a VCN, like for EPIC or hagwons, you need an interview. |

If it is with GEPIK and it is your first time you need an interview for your E-2 visa at the nearest korean consulate. I'm going through GEPIK in Hwaseong and I have to interview. |

Yes, I didn't see he said GEPIK. My bad.
OP, are you SURE you are getting a NOA? Or are you getting a Visa Confirmation Number?
GEPIK gets VCN and requires an interview. |

I'm not sure...I better talk with my recruiter.
The instructions that I got from them kept saying Notice of Employment Appointment. I havent seen mention of a VCN at all.
I havent scheduled an appointment. How tough is it to get one? |

Getting one... not tough at all, just takes a phone call.
Getting one when you want..... When I called, all the slots were full for the next two weeks. So, find out what you are getting, and call ASAP to get a slot. My consulate is in Atlanta, and they only do 5 or 6 a day, first come first served basis. |
