Well, it finally happened. No doubt she had been cavorting with foreigners, but no report on that angle yet.

Someone on our base finished up here and went back to the base she came from last week and promptly came down with the big F. Word came out late yesterday (Monday) that all students will be confined to base next weekend. Of course, none of the administration or faculty will be restricted--we can come and go as we please. So much for quarantining. Rolling Eyes

THEN I got a call this evening from a former student. All the recruits at his base will be restricted to base next weekend, but the NCO's and officers will be able to go out.

There MUST be a glitch in the dictionary definition of 'quarantine'. That's the only possible explanation.

PS: Two weekends ago I had dinner with a couple of students and a nurse at the army's largest hospital. She said that the recent swine flu patients had much more severe symptoms than previously. If anyone lives in Bundang, you may want to move upwind of the hospital there.
