|
|
Hi all... I was just wondering about this. I am here on a tourist visa and currently looking for work.. I have all the necessary documents with me in hand... so... suppose I get offered a job ASAP...or for the start of Sept..
How long would take for me to get the E2 Visa and be able to teach legally? I am pretty sure I will have to do the whole Japan Visa run...blah
A few days, A week or more? I've taught in Korea before, so not worried about the whole Korean Embassy Interview thing...!!
I hope to get a job straight away...I notice a lot of the jobs are starting in Sept..Will I be able to get my E2 in for then in plenty of time??
I expect to be offered a job I like within the next week or so...(all going well) |

The jobs that start in September should be full unless people back out, because it takes time to get things done. If you look, all the people working for the public schools have already gotten their paperwork done and are waiting for their planes. |

A Korean friend of mine said his boss is looking for American teachers. It's a hagwon in Suwon.
PM me your email address
Also, do to do the visa run, you need to have had an E2 before. For the interview thing, my understanding is that that is for first-timers on E2's and it has to be in your home country. You can't do it in Korea. |
