my phone is like 4 years old, doesnt have video, doesnt have internet, or show or what ever..

but I have been hearing from Friends in the states that 4G phones are coming out, everyone has 3g already,
internet , watching movies, downloading, apps etc..

Im curious , is Korea WAY ahead of the American market?
or are we just on par?

what do the best Korean phones have? are they way ahead of the world?
seems samsung and LG are using all their technology for the abroad phones.. or are Korean cell phones badass compared to the rest?

emmm or maybe I just need to get a new phone..

anyone got a link or some news for the best phones in korea?

Korean phones are horrible, just horrible.

Korea phones on average are far superior to cell phones in the west. Most high end cell phones in the US seem to be 1-2 year old Korean or European models. Of course, the one exception is the Iphone. That being said, Japanese phones are the most high tech in the world. I have a 4 year old Japanese cell phone (3G) that is still better than 95% of the cell phones available today. If the Japanese turned their attention to cell phones with similar interfaces as Iphone, wow, they'd kick but t.

It's all possible. Korean phones are among the most advanced in the world. HOWEVER, the telecom monopolies basically strangle the user with absurd data rates and voice charges (among the highest in the world) which essentially makes most Koreans use their expensive phones (also among the most expensive in the world) for only SMS, DMB, games/apps, and of course voice.
