Why didn't anyone mention this?
From the Korean consulate website:
| Quote: |
If you received a Notice of Appointment, you must provide:
 Original Contract
 Notice of Appointment
Notarized copy of diploma OR official transcripts
 Completed Visa Application (see attachment)
 Completed Consul Checklist (see attachment)
 Completed Health Statement (see attachment)
 One passport size photo
Passport- YOU MUST SEND YOUR ACTUAL PASSPORT. THE VISA ISSUING OFFICER MUST STAMP DIRECTLY IN TO THE PASSPORT.
$45 (cash or money orders only made payable to Korean Consulate. Personal checks are NOT acceptable)
Resume detailing your work/teaching experience including all experience in Korea
***Returning teachers do NOT require an interview
Persons with a Notice of Appointment do NOT require an interview
Postage paid self-addressed EXPRESS MAIL envelope for return of your documents & visa- (if you are picking up your visa the business day after your interview then you do not need to send the envelope) |
Can anyone confirm this? Might save people a lot of time (and money) |
