My childhood was full of the Beatles but I didn't hear much of the stones until I hit my 20's. I like both. Beatles remind me of carefree days. Stones are a bit more raw... maybe a bit more like real life.

Take that for what it's worth: 200 won.

I can't stand the Stones. I like some Beatles stuff but prefer the solo stuff of George Harrison.

Have some courtesy, have some sympathy and some taste.

Guys, I don't mean to be rude but I don't think anyone here on Dave's really cares if you can speak/write German or not.

Good heavens. So, when you hear Can't You Hear Me Knocking? and Midnight Rambler, you say to yourself "I can't stand this"?

The guy originally spelled it as 'Beetles'; who makes that kind of typo?

Anyway, I find both bands to be pretty horrid but the Stones do have a few good songs; can't say that about The BEETLES though.

For a classic band with some decent songs (and highly original at the time), I can't recommend Coven enough:

P.S. Still nobody has put forth comparative analysis of the two, I'd be happy to do it but I'd like to know what you guys had to say about it, first.
