Hmm... I wonder if an Xbox360 price cut is in the works. $299 really undercuts Microsoft, considering they've always made it a point to have the 360 cheaper than the PS3.

If the PS3 is $299, does that mean we can see an XBox 360 Elite system for ~$270?

Wow, I was debating between getting a PS3 or building a PC but I may go towards the PS3 if we see these savings being passed down at all out here in Korea.

i asked and they said No slim in korea for a while so probably not price cut either.

The guy at the electronics mart where i tried to get my ps3 fixed a couple of days ago. I didn't really ask him exactly after he said not soon. Same for the price drop. But the price drop is only in the u.s. i believe.

No the price drop is across the board. Watch the video I linked to in the op and gives a breakdown of the prices. no mention of Korea though. lol

But no mention of Asia just Europe,U.K. and U.S. Korea is always late getting it like the original ps3 and the wii

I'm pretty sure he mentions Japan too, but then it is Sony, so no surprise there. If the slims sells for anything less than 350,000 I'm getting one for sure.
