I've got this kid whose Korean age is 7, so he's probably 5 or 6 western style and he is mostly the standard rambunctious boy child that you would expect, except that the other day when our workbook presented the opportunity to draw clothes on an outline of a human figure, instead of turning it into a superhero or a robot like the other boys, he drew female genitalia. This combined with the way that he dances during song time (like a male stripper) makes me think something might be wrong. I alerted my co-teacher concerning the drawing and have accepted that I will never know the truth, but what do you all think? Do kids this young often act like this?

I hope not, however kids do crazy things and go out of phase when they don't get the attention.

They are known to:
strip and run naked out of the house,
tell you "boys have p**** and girls have v*****",
poke teachers in butt crack,
punch teachers in the crotch,
bring you all sorts of disgusting creatures they've caught,
god knows what else

The kid probably has older brothers and free access to the Internet. At least there is a good chance the kid won't turn out gay.

In my experience, about 38% of kids this age around the world are able to behave in the ways you describe. Maybe a little higher in Korea. I dunno.

I mean, this is a part of the world where no one thinks it's odd to eat live octopus or boiled silkworm cocoon, and grown adults who have attended university will tell you without hesitation that dung is cute. Yeah, cute.

Actually, compared to that and some other stuff I could mention, what you got goin' is not all that weird.

From the title, by the way, I thought your post was something about hygiene ... be more clear next time, why not.
