Does anyone know anything about Gunpo City? From what I'm told it's about 40-50 minutes south of Seoul with lots of nice mountains.

Sounds lovely but I need more info than this, anyone please? Thanks in advance!

Bueller, anyone, Bueller?

I stopped there once when I got off on a wrong exit on National Road 1. Yes, mountains to west, schools are on the western side as well. The city might as well be Anyang West, really. Read about Anyang FYI.

It's hard to give you any advice or insights as you haven't specified where in Gunpo you will be.

Sanbon is a nice area. It's on line 4 and about 30-45minutes to something interesting in Seoul. Sanbon has plenty of other foreigners, decent restaurants and bars, E-Mart, Kim's Club, fruit/vegetable markets, mountains, and good coffee shops.

I've lived in Korea for over 6 years. Sanbon was my favorite place to live.
