For the Canadians in Seoul and anyone else who likes hockey, hockey season is starting early. Anyang Halla has their season opener September 19 and 20 in Anyang at 12:30 pm. They're starting early this year and shortening the playoffs just a little to make sure they're finished before the olympics.
because of a new TV deal this year, their games will start at 12:30 on Saturday and sundays, where as last year they started around 5pm (which was a much better time in my opinion)
if tickets are the same price, they're 6,000W for general admission. You can take a subway to the anyang station and a 2,000 taxi ride to the rink. There is apparently a bus but I just always took a taxi last year.
The team finished top of the league last year, but lost in the playoffs. I'm not sure what is going on with High1, they barely have any useful english information on their page. Last year they played a lot of games in mokdong. Any games they played there were free as far as I know. I have no idea if they're going to continue there or if they're going to play in their home city.
[edit] scratch that. I just checked the schedule again, its been altered.
