Hi,

Sorry I appologize for posting here as I know ARK is usually the place to post but it doesnt seem to get much traffic.

I'm going to pick my dog up from the airport next week (had to fly cargo after we arrived) and I'm wondering...we're probably going to take transit to the airport but we were thinking we might just take a cab from the airport afterwards.

Will a cab at the airport allow us to bring our dog (who is small, and will be in a medium sized crate) into the taxi? I know there are probably other ways of getting him back to our place (Ilsan area) but think the taxi will be the most chill/humane way of transporting him after such a long flight. Thoughts/tips/suggestions?

I own a Maltese and we take him on the subway and by taxi all the time, no problems. He's always in his carrier in the taxis and he's only in it on the subway until someone wants to give him cuddles. I don't think you'll have a problem.

I've taken my cat on the metro and usually get some smiles, even when she's meowing.

I've not heard of any problems taking a taxi with a dog, but I have heard about them when you have a cat.

I've also taken a small dog in a taxi and on a bus with no problems. As long as it's in the crate I don't think anyone really cares.

I always take my dogs in taxi's, buses and on the subway. The only ones who ever require me to put my dog in a crate are the buses. Subways usually don't care, and taxi's just want your money. Especially the vultures at the airport, a fare from Incheon to Ilsan, a dog should be no problem at all.
