I had my co-teacher ask me 'what do Americans do at birthday parties when they are blindfolded and swing at something hanging from the ceiling'?
It occurred to me that this tradition (stolen from Mexico) that I take for granted is completely foreign to my Korean counterparts.
Does anyone know where I might be able to buy a pinata in the Seoul area or anywhere in Korea? |

Why not just make one out of paper mache? I don't recall it being all that difficult, been a long time though. Or better yet, have a lesson on making them and get the students to make them... |

I'd suggest Park's Pinata Emporium in Youido. I know you'll hear people tell you that Sooji's Pinata Shack in Suwon is superior but don't listen to those a-holes. Sooji uses silicone based adhesives and synthetic rayon in their pinatas whereas Park uses ONLY a hybrid polyurethane/cotton blend.
Head on over there and tell him Moustache Ride sent you. He'll treat ya right. |
Now that's funny!!! Good one! |
