hi all
I need to go into the American Embassy in Gwanghwamun this week and I've not been there before.
Could someone on this forum post directions- which exit... how far to walk, what kinds of buildings or landmarks will I pass. I'm not really a map kind of person...
thanks in advance! |

Take a subway or bus to Gwanghwamun and look for all the riot buses and cops. Simple as that. |

The map above is good. You said you were not a map person though, so...Line five Gwangwhamun Station exit 2 walk north, the main street will be on your left Kyobo building will be behind you over you right shoulder as you walk toward Kwangwhamun and Kyunbukkung. The embassy is on the right, its the building with the American flag in front. Sorry couldn't resist. Seriously though depending on why you are going there are two different entrances. If you are going for citizen services, use the front entrance facing the main street. If you are going for visa paperwork for a non-citizen use the side entrance on the south side of the building. |
