|
|
Just wondering if anyone has any information on this school. At first glance, it appears to be very professional. They ask for letters of recommendation, their English is very good, and I have an interview set up with them. Also, didn't use a recruiter - they are doing all of the interviews themselves.
Anyone taught there or know someone who has? Feedback would be great.
Thanks!
(Also I tried the search function but didn't yield any results) |

I interviewed with a BIS in Seoul a couple of years ago (no recruiter involved). I got offered the job, but I chose to go the ps route. They have a full curriculum (not just English), which is nice. The drawback to me was the hours and the fact that it still was a hakwon. I don't know about the Busan branch. |

Hey, my husband and I are thinking about teaching there as well. I can't PM yet, but if you'd like to we could compare notes. We taught in Korea last year, and everything sounds pretty good to us so far...although we haven't seen the contracts yet! |

I had some friends work at one of the BIS branches a few years back. They complained a lot about working hours and pointless paperwork. I can't vouch either way, but I would hate to see someone end up at a bad Hagwon that I have heard of.
BTW - here is a link to a BIS thread.

Sounds like a nightmare to me!
And yes, it sounds like a hagwon from that thread (and a bad one at that). |
