Have MS Office on my laptop and I just bought a small notebook laptop. The one with no cd drive.

Want to copy my MS Office over to the notebook. Tried just a straight copy onto a usb but that didnt work

Can anyone give me a heads up how to do it?

Cheers

Do you have the original Office CD or installer files? If you have the CD you can set up your other computer as a network drive and install from that. If you have the installer, then you can copy that to the netbook and run it there.

Can't you go to Microsoft, download MS Office and enter your product key to activate?
