My family wants to wire about $50 to me via Western union to Busan Bank. As far as I know, they just have to put Busan Bank in Pusan, South Korea and my personal info. Is there a number code that I need as well, or is it as simple as that? Meant to call the bank today. |

Usually the Western Union charges would make sending $50 prohibitive -- depending on the int'l transaction sometimes between US$29-40.
Usually the sender just tells the recipient a MTCN (Money Transfer COntrol Number) and the recipient can show his ID, along with the MTCN at any WU scheduled bank/pick up point. |

Just have the family member do it online and say its going to busan, South Korea and give you the confirmation number. You don't need to contact the bank in Busan at all and you can pick it up anywhere that is affiliated with western union. 50 might not be worth the trouble of this though unless the money is badly needed. |
