Definitely give Thai Air a shot. Seems like most of the travel agents I've talked with offer these flights, for a slightly higher price.
I noticed Malaysia Air also has some dirt cheap deals to BKK and back but they don't run every day so you have to do a lot of nosing around.

| Thai Air's website has some very good deals to Bangkok (400K won) if you book at least two weeks in advance. However, they only offer a very limited number of seats at this price so getting this price during peak vacation time in Korea will be tough. |
