Does anyone know FOR SURE how long background checks and medical checks are good for? How recent do they have to be when you apply for your visa? I'm going to be applying to EPIK to start work next March and I already have my background check. I'm from the states, btw. Sorry if this has been asked before; I don't really know what key words I would have to use to find posts that address this specifically. Anyway, if anyone has received this information from an authoritative source, I'd appreciate it if you'd tell me. Thanks.

6 months for CRC, don't know about medical checks. Why don't you ask the school or recruiter?

You're sure? How do you know this? I don't mean to doubt you, I just need to be sure. Where do you get that number?

Check out the immigration website or the consulate websites. You're American, good for 6 months. Canadians, for example, good for 3 months.
