I know it's the pollution, I know it's the dust, I know it will never happen, but still, I wish I could have nice clean windows..... Sad

I just wish I could get the sticky glue off my windows from where the previous tenant put stickers and tape all over them. Suggestions?

I tried scrubbing with warm soapy water to no avail; soon I might switch to acid.

Two solutions:

(1) Try soju to clean your windows. I'm not joking by the way.

(2) Go the Korean route and completely ignore your windows. Has anyone else noticed this? Koreans are completely anal about keeping their floors spotless but don't care in the slightest about windows. Pretty much every house and every school or office has dirty windows.

It seems pretty common among Asian cultures to ignore window dirt. My grandmother on the other hand can't stand even a few marks on hers. There she is, complaining about being unable to reach up and clean her windows, and I'm standing there thinking to myself 'Gawd she'd faint if she saw mine...'

an easy way to get anything sticky off glass, plastic, metal etc. is spray it with WD-40 and let it sit for an hour then wipe clean

I have the most amazing view out of these 3 meter high windows from the 15th floor yet my windows a dirty as hell on the outside which ruins the effect a bit. How often do they clean windows on an officetel normally yearly?

I thought about getting a couple of heavy duty magnets and trying to clean it that way (fish tank style) but they are double glazed and I would probably end up killing some one

They clean them twice a year. Not very well.
