Or because s/he has a cold and does not want to infect anyone. |

Don't rule out plastic surgery. Maybe she got some fat injected to her cheeks/chin. |

i'm wearing a mask today, but it's because i went to the hospital 2 days ago for a stomach virus and my boss wouldn't give me time off, so i'm hopingthe mask will encourage him. maybe if i take it off halfway through the day he'll tell me to go home for fear of infecting everyone? |

Just get a can of soup and pretend to "vomit" it in the hallway. Then, walk away down the hall. It might be worth it to get a can of Campbell's Minestrone Soup; I think it naturally smells like vomit! Plus, you have the chunks, which are visually appalling. |

You are sick, refreshingly so. |

Masks are pretty commonly used here in Asia anyway from anything to preventing smog inhalation to preventing the spread of disease.
I wore a mask to my first hagwon in Korea for a few days because I had accidentally tripped while on a school hiking trip and scraped my face pretty bad. |

Seriously...I owe many cans of that soup to aid me in my school-skipping adventures. |
